OMG YAY I CAN POST!! I was looking through our posts at the very beginning and as it turns out, I was the one who came up with the password. And now I've forgotten what it was. BRILLIANT. Well anyway peeps, you can still log into your respective blogspot accounts to contribute if you've been added to the list!

Can't believe it's been almost FIVE FREAKING YEARS since we graduated. What is everyone up to these days? Yes I propose a SUPER MASSIVE MEETUP with EVERYBODY (including the ones we haven't spoken to in years and years). It'll be so fun! Can we do it at someone's house on a Saturday night so we can all chillax until the wee hours of the morning without professional guilt? Yeah but I suppose this extremely idealistic scenario will have to wait a few more months to be potentially realised. But people, please keep this in mind! And erase all other plans when we decide on the big date!

It has been 3 months since.

I know right, it has only been three months, but it actually feels like three years has passed. Okay maybe not three years, two. Okay okay I'm exaggerating. One. It feels like one year has passed. One year is a long time isn't it?

3 months. It's been three months since I started school. The first three months in JC comprised of fun and laughter, peace and joy (that was the favourite phrase of one of my science teachers in secondary school), happy people all around. The first three months in Uni comprised of fun and laughter, damn a lot of assignments, sleepless nights, stress, huge eyebags, lots of sad, emo people all around.

My school is such an intense place. Most people I see in campus look intensely busy. Some wear intensely formal clothes. Some look intensely nerdy. Some are intensely lonely. Some smoke intensely. Some buildings are intensely drab. The whole busload of people always look intensely dreary, like as if the bus journey is a one-way trip to The Land of Dread With No Return. Why, that's not true - it's a loop service. You always get to leave the place at the end of the day.
Unless you live in campus. Which isn't such a bad idea because some of the halls have this nice laidback chalet-ish feel about them. Unless you're really unlucky and get those not so nice industrial factory-ish looking ones which are just... ugh.
No but seriously I don't know why my fellow schoolmates always emit that sian aura. Must be the weather. Or it could be the location. I sometimes see people waving to us from offshore oil rigs.

On a totally random note, I haven't eaten meat pau in a super long time. Meat paus always have unidentifiable stuffing that don't taste all that good. Red bean paus are safer, it's all red bean paste. (Or is it? It's all blackish you can't really tell if there's extra stuff in there anyway ho ho ho.)

I dunno. I like going to school (it definitely, definitely beats working), but sometimes things just screw up by themselves, know what I mean? I should just find a nice cheery roomie, get accomodation on campus, wear yellow clothes, ride around on a yellow bicycle, soak up the sunshine and sing aloud to myself every single day. Or I could paint the drab, grey buildings yellow. Either way it'd be nice.
Or I could simply stop procrastinating and do consistent work. It'd make life slightly better. I even have a Procrastibuddy believe it or not. She's the one I rely on to retain my sanity in the middle of the night. Somehow it makes you feel better to know that you're not alone. Currently we're trying to clean up our act, and we're renaming ourselves Studybuddies. Studybuddy. Ha I like the sound of that. Much better than the mouthful of Procrastibuddy anyway.

Oh Rachel's coming back from Australia just about today! (: YAY!!

Hello class, so much for not letting this blog die.

Can the blog be resurrected?
Does it stand a chance in the midst of all the busy class peoples' lives?
Or will it wither away into oblivion, just a page people visit now and then to see if anything new has been posted, but not wanting to update?

Therefore I shall get down to writing an entry before school actually starts and we all get busier then we all are now.

So, for those who don't know, I have been working in a spectacle shop for the past few months, and all I can say is I never ever want to go back into retail. I think there's an unspoken rule that if you voice such things out almost certainly the opposite happens (like when the day before you complain to your mom that you don't want to go to work almost certainly the next day the shop people call up and ask you to turn up for work so if you want to be rich you have to say "I never ever want to be rich" and then almost certainly the opposite happens and you find yourself striking lottery day after day. Now that's a very very sweet dream for starters, and I don't think it will ever happen, but that's not going to stop me from trying) and chances are a few years down the road I might be selling clothes at some boutique in maybe Takashimaya now for a change of environment. Ah, but seriously, retail is disgusting, KUDOS TO ALL THE SALESPEOPLE OUT THERE!

Oh, I also did a 4 day stint at the Expo for the CommunicAsia event (for the uninitiated, this is where all the telecommunication and media companies over Asia get together to exhibit their technology but I swear i saw angmoh companies) as an order-form-giver-cum-drink-stall-holder. It was disgusting I never want to go into the F&B industry again. Okay at this point I'm starting to think that I'm sounding like a spoilt brat, but hey I'm NOT okay, and I don't like it when people call me spoilt brat because it sounds like spoilt bread when people don't pronounce it properly, and I sure as hell do not like spoilt bread. Okay in all honesty the drink making was fun I actually enjoyed it because the 15 year old ah bengs I was working with were so ridiculously childish I felt like I was back in primary school. Eh no la, the drink making was fun because I got to learn the difference between a latte and a cappucino, an espresso and a normal black coffee. Oh and I got to steam milk too, and the rod that goes into the milk produces a loud sound and lots of steam which causes the milk to foam wahahha. But the entire thing was stupid because the management was screwed up and very disorganized and as a result alot of precious time was wasted which I was actually quite happy about because it meant that I was being paid for doing absolutely nothing.

I dunno why, but you get alot of complaints in the forum about the service standards of salespeople and F&B people, but have you seen the standards of the customers? If all customers were nice there wouldn't be any nasty service people. (But then again maybe not, because some people are just inherently mean.) I dunno why, but the nasty customers are particularly draining. They drain you of all cheerfulness, of all energy and of all morale. (Personally I think these three are interlinked.) You know they're like the Dementors from Harry Potter who come along and suck out all happy feelings in you and they leave you all miserable and gloomy, and it would be good if you can use a Patronus spell against them, but nasty customers aren't that easy to deal with unfortunately. (Or maybe I can just shoot icy glares at them and be nastier than them, but then it would leave me liable of appearing in Stomp if some nosy passerby decides to shoot a video of lousy service standards.) ARGH I hate my job sometimes.

But then again there are the Supernice customers who make me very happy because they're very nice, and they make me want to be very nice to them too. So I guess it's true that there are always two sides to everything. Just like how I have sacrificed an early dinner just to add a bit of life to this blog. But silly me, I could have just done it after dinner eh, but I wanna watch Deal or No Deal and look at Adrian Pang dish out his "now, the banker has given it serious thought, and is offering you a total of blablabla dollars" in an oh-so-serious face which makes my hair stand because it is all oh-so-corny.

Oh well, how's everybody doing? :)

Hey Everybody!

Long time no see and hear!! Miss ya'all so very very very much! Hope you all have been well and using your free time now wisely!! For me, I decided to go explore the coporate world.. And guess what? I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT! :( Anybody have the same sentiments? wahhaa:p

My first job was a server at some restaurant (don't want to name it lest they sue me!).. Eeli, Lia, Cam, Van, George, Kim, Lilian and many others would noe where;) I made a lot of friends there.. but I hated the so-called 'higher ups' in that restaurant (you know the ones they call managers) And I believe George would identify with me! ;) wahhaa:p Anyways, to cut the long story short, I decided there and then: I DON'T WANNA BE STUCK WORKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE!!! IT SUCKS!!! TRUST ME... wahhaa:p

Well, you see, after that.. I didn't really learn my lesson.. After I resigned from my first job, I was enticed by another offer another company gave me (the money was not much really, now i realised).. I STUPIDLY signed some contract and got stuck again for 1 and a half months.. It was HORRIBLE:S Everyday was the WORST day of my life! wahaha:p (come to think of it, it was really hilarious because half the time I was dozing off at work:p oops! Lia could vouch for that because I msged her to tell her how boring it was, right sister? wahaha:p) no free time for family, no free time for myself.. no waking up late (that was the worst for me at least).. boohoohoo:( I would have died:S Then I realise my friends there are no better off than me! The friends I made there told me they signed 2 year contracts! And when I asked, "How did ya survive?" they laughed shrugged their shoulders, "What to do? I got a family to feed! No choice!" But there IS a choice and they have chosen it! Would you have chosen the same? Furthermore, there IS lots to do that can totally transform their lives.. You see my friends.. It's not about WHAT you do, it's about HOW you do it! Those millionaires out there don't start being millionaires.. they were once like us!

From this 2 experiences, I ask myself, "Do I really want this kind of lifestyle? To slog for THE BOSS Monday to Friday for the REST OF MY LIFE and all I get is a fixed income while THE BOSS gets the BIG money? " The answer I gave myself was a BIG RESOUNDING NO! And mind you, I WILL live to a ripe old age of 120.. So if I start work after uni at, say, 22 years young, that would be slogging for about 98 years? Even if I retire at, say, 60, that will be about 38 years of sweat and blood! After that, what happens when I retire? My income stops after I retire and I don't think my CPF or savings could support me another 60 years! So what is there for me in the future then? Is there another way? (Now, I know some cheeky people will ask me.. you live so old for what? well, I want it that way! wahhaa:p)

Thank God for my parents! They brought me to an event called National Achiever's Congress 2007:) Anybody heard of it before? It's an event held every year where world famous speakers (only millionaires are qualified to speak at this event) are invited to speak! Their massive knowledge astounds me! It inspired me to THINK BIG! And I realised that there is more to making money than just getting a degree, finding a good job.. I know it sounds cliche but it is a FACT! Anyways, I'll tell more to those who wanna know more about this event if you come ask me personally:) My point is, I learnt from the Gurus that there are so many other ways to make money in this society! And one of them is a business I'm in now: NETWORK MARKETING:)

Network Marketing is a business most often misunderstood by people. People think it's no different from pyramid selling but it is DIFFERENT! :) Network marketing is about helping people to achieve financial freedom.. to help people retire with grace and more... ONE (SINGAPORE) is organising a 24 hours football match from the 8th Dec (7pm) to 9th Dec (7pm). Our aim is to promote public awareness on the issue of poverty and how it is within means to eradicate poverty by 2025.

We are now extending the invitation to all to take a stand in this meaningful deed. All that is required of you is to form a team of 5 players (with another 2 substitutes) and register to play for this event. Introduction

This is a project organized by ONE (SINGAPORE) and sanctioned by the Singapore
Football Association to promote public awareness on the issue of poverty in the world and to
take concrete steps to eradicating poverty.

It is a 24 hour football match to be held at The Cage (www.thecage.com.sg) from 7.00pm on

8th December to 7.00pm on 9th December 2006.

There will be a maximum of 70 teams of 5 players per team involved in this football match
along with substitutes and supporters of each team and members of the general public.
Invited as Special Guests for this event will be a number of celebrities and dignitaries.

Objectives
1. To raise awareness on the issue of poverty in the World
2. To educate the public on the Millennium Development Goals, a set of time bound and
quantified targets to eradicate poverty in its many dimensions
3. To encourage charitable giving (financial, time and "in-kind" donations) in general and
specifically to organizations tackling poverty
4. To provide financial support for the MILK charity and the Aceh Livelihood Project

Details of the Event

A football match lasting 24 hours will be held at The Cage. Each team will play for a
minimum of one hour.

A total maximum of 70 teams will be invited to participate in this event including:
* Celebrity Teams
* a Parliamentary Team
* a team selected by the President of ONE (SINGAPORE)
* Children’s / Youth’s Teams
* Ladies’ / Men’s Teams
* Teams consisting of physically disabled players

Trophies / prizes will be awarded for various activities such as:
(i) Winner of each tournament
(ii) Correctly guessing the total number of goals scored in the 24 hours, etc

An opening and closing ceremony is planned at which the objectives of ONE (SINGAPORE),

* Publicity of the event commenced on 9th November with a feature segment on the
"Football Crazy" show on ESPN Star Sports
* Discussions are taking place with Class 95FM radio station to promote the event
throughout November and early December
* Suria, SPH and Channel News Asia are expected to be covering the event with
interviews with some of the celebrities involved
* ESPN Star are considering promoting this event and ONE (SINGAPORE) on their
other channels

Funding / Net Proceeds
Funding for this event will be through:
i. Corporate sponsors – primarily donating by giving goods or services for free or
deeply discounted rates plus cash donations
ii. Entry fee per team ($25 per person for adults / $15 for children). Included in this fee
is a welcome pack that includes, amongst other items, a ONE (SINGAPORE) t-shirt
and a White Band (the International symbol of the Make Poverty History Campaign).
Attendees at the event will also have the opportunity to make donations to the charity fund.
Our target is to raise in excess of $10,000, to be donated to the nominated charities.

2005, it has launched a celebrity CLICK video, funded the purchase and
distribution of food aid in West Africa and conducted educational campaigns.

You know I'm really feeling like the fox from Aesop's Fables who saw some other animal eating green grapes but couldn't get them grapes, which were hanging from some vine too high up, and then proclaimed with a toss of the head that the grapes were probably sour and that he was better off not eating them. Okay I'm not sure if the fox tossed its head, I just like the expression. (How does one toss one's head?) Okay now the word toss is starting to look weird. Remember how Aesop's Fables always came with morals? Now who can guess the moral of this story? Nah don't try. The moral of the story is: don't ever like grapes.

Aesop's Fables seems to belong to a different dimension.

Nah that was crap. The real moral of the story is to drop Literature so that you wouldn't have those three shadows hovering over you when you're having fun these 3 days which vaguely resemble the three books waiting for you on your table constantly calling out "Reaaad meee! Reaaaaad meeeee!!". Oooh freaky number three. It's appeared three times in the above sentence. You know how they say that the number 23 is always appearing around you? I'm not kidding. I've never really tried noticing. But maybe it's like psychological, like how they say that we are exposed to many many many words every single day, but we don't register them because the amount of information our brains would have to process would be staggering. Until somebody comes along and makes you aware of a certain word, and then you start seeing that particular word everywhere you turn and you get freaked out that you're seeing the word everywhere. But it's really only because you have heightened awareness of the word that you're registering it. Okay that was another huge chunk of rubbish.

Okay I don't know where this is leading, but I'm thinking that it's really unfair that our exams only end on friday when three quarters of the nation's J2s are having unrestricted fun like right now even as I type. T_T
We should have petitioned for it to be brought forward to like wednesday or something. For once in my life I want to be Dennis.
But on second thoughts maybe I'll just stick to being me.

its super worth it ,and rather cheap. fifty bucks only per person--for hair and makeup. plus,the stylist comes to the place (so we can ask the stylist(s) to come to our hotel room!! )

The reality of graduation has probably dawned on us all, but I guess this really marks a strengthening of the class ties rather than the bidding of goodbye. Perhaps we may see less of each other from now on, but we had taken with us lasting and lovely memories of each other. Consider how 25 unique individuals were brought together in one class; rather than to have numerous conflicts arising within the class, friendships were forged and made to last. No doubt, the class did suffer from small conflicts and squabbles from time to time, but it did not tear us apart. Rather, it brought the class closer together and in due time such squabbles would have become bygones.

Our stay in the school was made better because of a class. The moral support provided and strong encouragement given to each other drove us all to excel in every field. Be it ccas, studies or even misc. events, our achievements were sweetened by the congratulations offered by each other. We achieved everything as class, not as individuals. So what if there were cliques formed? The class still remained united. The friends we made in class were probably the closest to us in our stay in sajc. They were always there for our every need.

Achievements may become void as time passes, but friendships made in 05a32 remains. I believe that we are proud of having each other in our memories. There is certainly a special spot for 05a32 reserved in all our lives. And for that, graduation possesses a greater meaning for all of us. It is not a goodbye, but a new phase in life in which memories of 05a32 forms a pillar of strength for us all.

For now, let’s work towards the A levels.

greetings from the future sg pres once again!
pls dun laugh at my life long ambitions! vote for me! we were once classmates...

talking abt being ex-classmates, haha and seeing all the marvellous posts down there.. i shall try to add to this collection! lovely! its been slightly more than a day since we graduated, but perhaps it hasn't hit me as hard yet, maybe cos the feeling hasnt sunk in yet that we have parted ways as a class (all thanks to the GP mock which was immensely boring) . it was one lovely journey for me all this throughout my 1 and a half yrs in SAJC, accompanied by stuff like OCIP and the badminton team! OHH! i forgot! and of cos, the beloved o5A32!! hahah it was really fun. stepping in the first day into the hall and getting acquainted with the class is still a rather vivid image to me! all of us, in our various uniforms, all looking like we were in a foreign land, which is actually rather true. but with time, we made this foreign land our home, and this class.. our family! the change from our old uniforms into the smart-looking SA uniform was like our housewarming, getting together and knowing the various members of the family. i remember me and kula were initially very apprehensive abt how our life in SA were going to be, and i wld divulge tt we didnt really expect it to be so much fun and enjoyable. hahaa but im glad it turned out contrary to our expectations!

the ultra-strenous combi of HISTORY ECONS LIT MATH were the mechanisms that brought us all together. its fate really that we have been posted into this class (see lingyi n zang..) hahha im really glad that we got them both, rather than let a31 have this 2 wonderful ppl. still these 4 mad subjects brought 25 wonderful ppl (or is it 26 counting uncle johnny?) together and im really thankful for choosing this combination. the day before farewell assembly was the first time in my life that im glad i got 15 pts for my o lvl score! No one is here by chance! and im sure my 15 pts were by no means a coincidence! its God will that i am into this class, to let me be part of such a wonderful class and all. and u guys n girls dun really know how much i cherish it all. anyway back to the main focus, we have weathered so many storms together as a class! rmbr our first major scolding from the uncle? tt really stunned us all, but we were there for each other, helping each other out as we cowered in fear of tt "menace"! at least, he turned over a new leaf and has changed for the better, hes much nicer now! hahaha we had our fair share of fun times as a class, SENTOSA will always be a place of fond memories, and also bishan! not to mention MALAN ROAD n POTONG PASIR too =) i guess i owe everyone an apology for my excessive disillusionment with regards to our class unity. perhaps i really failed to see the tight bonds within the class (rmbr our 676 strong bonds?) despite our numerous cliques. but george's wonderful post really got me understanding once again. it doesnt really matter which clique we stick to, doesnt matter who we are always with even if its the same grp of ppl, what matters most is that each and everyone of us are always there to help each other out! and as we now say, when the going gets tough, 05a32 gets going TOGETHER! on surface, we do seem really disjointed as a class, but in fact, there is a core of such unity within the class, and i really like that thought, so thanks A32! and of course, george, for getting me to see the light once again.

its time for parting, time to face the big fat As (as u all like to call it), time to show our might, and time to be really there to help one another. im really glad tt in this precarious period of time, we have one another for support in case we fall. I know some of u are tiring in this last lap, so feel free to lean on each other for help and support, and im pretty sure we be willing to help each other through the most arduous and testing periods in our lives. the As determine our future, its our biggest TEST ever, and im sure we are going to pass it all as one lovely united class! may our 676 bonds only cease when we leave this world! all the best then people! next up, nov 27 : yoongster's bbq! george's post did bring back alot of memories and ring alot of bells. (: so i decided to do something too.hahas
I am so glad that this blog is so interesting now that i sure do look forward to reading this when i come online, wanting to take a break from (trying to) study.
Anyhows, i did not join the class for orientation cause (as some may know) i wasnt give the choice of math (which explains why i have been failing) but anyways, after all the appeal procedures (which requires writing a short paragraph of rubbish promising how you'll put in effor and do oh so well)i remember feeling so lost and lonely since the only person i know well was LILIAN. I knew her since the first three months through joining the ever so beloved sajccb. (: however, our class proved to be so welcoming and i remember george and kim trying to introduce themselves to me. as i gradually grew closer to the class, visits to the band table was lessened. rather, they have been replaced by hanging around with the class during breaks.(: i had the priviledge to grow closer with my group of girls and boys and i truly appreciate that, as they've been there to encourage me and bring me thus far.
thank you to those who've seen me through the happy and the sad days. all those who've given me a hug and all who've reassured me about everything i get worried about.
for the smallie who provides me with m&ms, who encourages me to study.
for eeli who've taught me how to view things from a micro (or isit macro or isit neither) perspective and then i'll know how minor my problems are.

it's hard to take in that we have left the sheltered school world/environment.
i guess this is why this graduation is different from other graduations like from sec sch.

all we have are the memories to get us by.

and to all of you, it's all of us for life aiite!
i think it is only with the friends you've made in ur school life that you can still be ur old childish, schoolish self even when u're older. the friends u make in the 'other' working world - well, i think it'll be more of mature relationships, with a lack of that true kid inner side to it.what's there to life without our young, carefree days right? [well comparing jc to the working, adult life, jc life can be still considered more relaxed i suppose]

Today's farewell assembly was rather sweet, and it's touching to see all the efforts the teachers put in for us. But today made me realise that I am definitely going to miss our beloved 05A32! I've said it before and I'd say it again, I love you guys! Thank you so much for enriching my experience in SA. Sure, we've had our fair shares of downs, but the HIGHS definitely make up more than enough for it!

I am sorry for that little period of angst last year. It was immaturity and stupidity on my part and I really want to thank you all for how you've gotten me back on track! How could I be what I am today without you guys? <3 Then, I really thought my life in JC sucked and all I looked forward to was getting out of it. But now, I can't bear to leave! I really want to thank all of you for asking me how I was at that time, whether I was ok, and doing everything to help. It meant and still means a lot to me. :)

But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! And I definitely feel that I am. And it's all thanks to you guys. Thank you for making such a huge difference in my life! I will treasure the moments we had together (and WILL HAVE together) forever, close to my heart!

For now, we've got to study hard together and score those As!!! Then we can really have some fun. :D

hey every1, noe havent been a 'regular' contributor to this section, but being in school today really caused memories of yesteryear to come rushing back like a tsunami hitting me right in the face. i can just see mrs Claudine tan circling the word 'tsunami' and putting a little "WC" (word choice not water closet) beside it to indicate a questionable description, but i assure you its really the apt-est word in my dictionary. hear me out for a sec..

remember when we just came into sajc? i dunno abt you but all i could think about was how lucky i was to be able to get into this school (not least because i could be with u-know-who~! but i'll try to keep the sappy stuff to a minimum for the benifit of those who are not into sappy stuff!) i remember the theme song to our orientation was "High by Lighthouse". looking back now, i'm really glad i got into this class, as i really really was able to find out what it truly means to be 'high' on life. this, of course, would not have been possible without the wonderful friends i've made along the way.

we've got to admit, in any organisation - not least a class of 25 - there is bound to be the formation of "Cliques" or "Groups of friends" or whatever u wanna call it. how many times have u guys seen kim myself and johan hanging out in the canteen eating malay food? likewise, james and dennis have grew pretty inseparable and kular, shawn and zang are like the 3 musketeers in all their zany & witty glory. for the girls, i've had the privilege and honour of being able to spend alot of time with van, anita, boss, cam, jian wei, and rachel, and sudev who happens to pop by when he is free from studying so so so so hard, thanks for being a contributary factor to me looking forward to coming to school daily! samantha, kellyn and stefanie are like the 3 hobbits from the LOTR (minus the height disadvantage), they seem to be on a mission guard a special "ring of friendship" coz they are stuck rarely seen apart. whenever i think of hardworking-ness and undying encouragement i think about the team led by boss Lau Jia Ling that comprises of herself, priscillia, eeli, lingyi, and wanting as they provide the inspiration for the others in class to strive for better results and encourage each other onward. last but not least there's joyce and chanel, who are basically the personification of closeness. so much so that they have been dubbed by an anonymous eurasian teacher to have 'a shared bladder'.

the point of what i've said above is really... what would our life in sajc have been without our closest friends? they were there when mrs ram remarked sarcastically at our SEA history paper. they were there when we practiced so so so so hard for maths ... and then got an F. they were there when mdm seet chased us out of class when she was having her prenancy blues. and they were still there when mdm seet became the sweet and understading mother we have grown to love. they were there when mr lee bemoaned at our inability to put frameworks into our essays. not displaying the skills of explaination, application, analysis and evaluation. and they were there when the very same mr lee congratulated us at the end of prelims. last (but most definitely not least), these are the friends that were there each and everytime mr yoong gave us our report cards, for the better and the worse.. and the worst. they say a friend in need is a friend indeed, it sounds so cliche but it holds so much truth - as i've found out in 05a32.

years from now, we'll most probably forget what happened on this very day. the contents of what happened in the CC would probably have been lost in the humdrum of our 'new' lives. the speeches made by mr wong and mr lee really touched me the most, but to be honest, i'd have forgotten them by the same time next year. would i remember anything about the Keynesian and Classical framework years from now? what about Poisson, Binomial and Normal distribution? will i recall what caused the Fall of Communism in Eastern Europe? or if Nationalism in southeast asia really WAS brought about by SEAsian Religion, Education, Jap Occ, Communism and SEAsian leaders. could the names "Othello, Silas, Januarie, Tyrone, Marlene and Boey" still ring a bell somewhere in the back of my head? or will the techniques of Juxtaposition, Incongruency, Repitition, Rhetorical Questioning, and Imagery be lost within me? i gotta be honest right here and say no. i won't remember peanuts about my syllabus. but what i'll remember is the times i spent in 05a32, and the people that made it so memoriable (that's you guys!)

in conclusion (heres where the evaluation comes in :P), years from now -many many many years- i hope that when every1 remembers me (if you guys remember me), i really hope you don't remember alone. rather, i hope u'll remember me with kim, who i've grown to love much more in the span of these two years, through the times we spent in 2005 deliberating about whether she should drop econs or history, and then whether i should drop history or lit the next year. the times after school where we went out to catch a show, hoping mr yoong would think we're going out to study and write nice testimonials in our report card (which never happened). and also to remember me with johan, i would never have guessed that you'd have become my best buddy in the span of 2 years, thanks for all the encouragement you've gave and for the time we spent crapping and bumming around in the canteen. i'll never forget your super sense of humour and happy-go-luckiness. ever! to think that i hardly talked to you during our orientation when i just got into sajc.

which brings me quite nicely back to the orientation of 2005. looking back, we've come a long way since that day. the road has been windy, bumpy, and even disconnected at times, yet we managed to pull through. though we were split up at times, having our differences and cliques and all, i'm so glad that today - the day of our farewell assembly - i can proudly proclaim that we no longer have the same problems that plagued our class once upon a time, as we stand one family unbroken. lastly, i wanna say a big thanks to every single one of you, for making these two years truly "High" for me, thank you thank you thank you so so much, not just for enduring through this long and probably boring post (hey i don't post that often right? :P) but really for being part of my life in the 2 years of jc. hope we can keep this family-spirit going, unclejohnny's 05a32 forever!

i actually don't really know how to feel right now.. it sorta seems unreal that we're graduating later. this class has really provided me with beautiful memories, and it never fails to amaze me how different people can come together and co-exist. ((:

i'm proud that i was part of this class, part of a chapter in everyone's book of life, and as i look back, it's going to be with a smile on my face.

thanks for putting up with my nonsense most of the time, and for taking the time to listen to me.

in a few hours time, we'll be saying the official goodbye to school, to classroom c201 and to sav. anyhows, we've all come a long way. our class, 05a32, we've had our fair share of fun, argument, unhappiness, togetherness and i guess it sure has been meaningful.

in my opinion, it has been a meaningful one and a half years. this year, being especially meaningful. i guess its all cause we have one classroom we pretty much stick to for every lesson. it did bring us a little closer, didnt it?
the teachers we love and hate. (hahas. we love all of them la actually)
and the things we do together. i especially will remember service learning. i think it is the most wonderful experience. (:
we've seen our friends through their tough times, and we've had our happy times together.
i thank everyone who has been giving me encouragement, advices, and those (which is many) who've seen my tears and attempt to comfort me.
i always believe in fate, and i guess that was what brought us together as a class. no humans can be together without arguments, and occasional unhappiness over certain issues, BUT, the sun will still always shine after the rain rights?(:
i sure do hate studying, but i'll always remember how you guys have encouraged me to press on. i am very sure each and everyone of us will do just fine this A's so all we got to do is to qiong qiong qiong.heh heh.

And so..
memories are not something we choose to remember, but what we choose not to forget.
i am sure every beautiful memory in 05a32 will stay etched in our hearts always (:

hey ppl! its graduation day in 8hrs 12min. such a thought really sets one thinking how fast our term in SA has gone so remarkably fast..

i can still vividly rmbr orientation when we all first came to know each other as a class. i was like "woah.. how do i go abt making friends with these ppl tt i haven come across before (except james)?" well. coming into a32 has taught me several lovely lessons of life. n most imptly, we shouldn't judge books by their cover. like how i thought jialing was damm scary n fierce-looking. shes alrite after all! n how ppl like dennis looked so remarkably angelic n quiet until he opened his m_uth! hahaha no offence! still. we undergone TRIALS and TRIBULATIONS successfully like e various exams n all. we gone through nightmarish projects and emerged as a much more cohesive n bonded unit. =) im really happy tt i been posted here! getting 15 pts for o lvls have never been such a blessing! hahaha dramatic irony? or did i get tt wrong again? eh lit pros some advice here thx!

anyway after graduation, im sure we will really go our own ways. guys going to shave bald to defend the small lil red dot in SEA and the girls, into their respective top unis im sure. still, i hope tt once in awhile, each of us will look back, tink abt it, n take the initiative to organise a gathering of some sort =) dun leave anyone out! lets all meet up n help each other, update each other abt our lives! hahaha n i be looking forward to stuff like weddings. MAN! gd food! hahaha lets see who's gonna get married first! =D HAHA! wedding taupok. lovely idea! i really hope tt 625 bonds tt we share among us, or 676 bonds of friendship (counting the childish old CT) between us will really go on n on. eh did i get the figures right? math pros! ur turn to help me out here =)

economically speaking, we shld consume more time for studying, invest more time in future for our friendship, get the govt (or CT UNCLE JOHNNY) to organise more outings (n sponsor it with govt expenditure, bar the tax, he got no power to do so!hahahah), export more... import more... DAMM! i duno. lets juz assume we are a closed economy! hahaha still AD = C + I + G in a closed economy. im not sure if i got tt right again. so econs pro. ur job...

n historically speaking, we should be like our lil country! making friends with other countries, keeping this friendship vibrant n alive with lil gathering sessions (IN THE UN!) frequently! so yes... history pros. vet my words. cos i know nuts abt history!

I DUN REALLY know what im talking abt... but still. as all our subjects are all backing up my argument for more future class gatherings after grad day.. i suppose we dun have a case for any rebuttals isnt it? so lets juz try to meet up as and when we can make it k! rmbr initiative fellow a32-ians. n tt includes u mr yoong? or is it uncle johnny? hahaha! anyway i really thank God for this class blog. its has really been a total blessing!!

thinking about farewell assembly tmr puts me off from studying. once again, we've reached that point in our lives when we say goodbye to each other. i guess it'll really start to sink in when the a's are over and suddenly, there's no more study outings, no more staying in the school library til five hopelessly trying to pressure ourselves into getting into the study mood while thinking of the endless things we're gonna do after the a's, no more pe for the rest of my life (i'm going to grow so fat without pe), no more daily morning bible reading and prayers, no more school uniforms, no more ties, no more this no more that and so much more.

i guess what i'm trying to say is that i'll miss everyone in this class after we graduate, cos each and every person in this class has touched my life in some way or another and helped me to grow-mentally, spiritually, emotionally (unfortunately, not physically. i don't see any increase in my height).

i'm gonna miss-
steffie (my fellow smallie!:)) and her tennis rackets and camwhoring abilites,
rachel and her funny sayings (i'll never forget her blog "short people grow taller" there's hope for me yet!),
wanting and her many expensive things and all the times when she's been there for me, especially during horrendous runs round the stupid track (yuck!),
kellyn and her funny escapades,
lingyi (i don't even know where to begin) and how she's helpme kept my unglam secrets until now and of course, her retro-ness and camwhoring-ness too! ahaha,
kim and her mathematical abilities and of course your kindness and patience and encouragement towards not only me, but so many others in our class too,
lilian and for the times when she's encouraged me and taught me so much about listening to God and doing our best to serve Him,
jianwei (my close friend! ahaha) and her diligence and perseverance and all our little chats and her concern for me in every circumstance (thank you!),
jialing (my boss!) and serving her, lending her my notes, receiving her encouragement and all that and the bus or taxi rides home :),
joyce and her funny laughter,
anita and all her pink-ness (eee!) and for always offering me another pov and making me see the world in more than just my sheltered life,
cam and her motherliness (that speaks volumes already),
eeli and our morning worship sessions and so much more,
van and her zhou jie lun craze and her euphemisms (correct usage?),
chanel and the amusing chats that we have had together,
sam and her guniang-ness!
zang and his amusing relationship with jialing
johan and his happy-go-luckiness
kula and all his funny commentsthat never fail to crack the class up,

and last but not least,

so thank you to everyone for your hand of friendship towards me and for all your patience, encouragement and more and for all the times that we have shared, the good and the bad. they'll always be treasured in my heart, in my mind, and in my soul.

from now until grad night when we officially graduate (that's when we officially graduate right?), let's study really hard for the a's ok? then next year when we collect our results (and the guys have no hair! how interesting) we can share in each other's joy and there's no need for any consolations, only congratulations. and forever, we'll always be o5a32 :)

haven't seen some of u in quite awhile.. hope everyone's still holding up ok. i'm sure we're all feeling the strain of studying, and thinking about the As, and life after it.. but just wanna encourage u not to give up, or let past grades affect ur dreams for the future! everybody! let's ALL aim for 3As or more ok! WAIT! i can see some of u shaking your heads already.. don't!! just hear me out for a sec k. sure it might seem impossible. but in a time such as this, where everyone tends to get stressed/testy/sad/angsty/depressed/discouraged/etc.. i believe a positive, everything-also-can environment is of utmost importance! whether YOU believe 3As is really possible for everyone or not (yourself included), for the sake of ur fellow classmate who may need the motivation and encouragement to carry on, force yourself to BELIEVE it!.. right up till the very last paper. ok? ok =) i don't know about u but don't u find that the hardest person to convince of such things is yourself? haha. so let's not trust our own feelings too much! Hello Earthlings,

This is Mr Mysterious (MM) blogging. I would like to send out a message telling you all to study hard. I heard that "SUCCESS IS ONLY BROUGHT ABOUT WITH 99% HARD WORK AND 1% INTELLIGENCE", which effectively translates to the fact that everyone of you need to give your best to do well in the upcoming A'Levels. For those who are just beginning, there is still time. So do not worry, because I am sure that everyone will help out one another in this final lap of this tedious race of 2 years. I am pretty much envious of you Earthlings because where I am located, it is all competition and little cooperation and love between us aliens. So please cherish one another. Using our superior technology, I have managed to filter out the really smart and helpful people for each subjects that you all take. So do approach them, because our superior technology does signal that they are FRIENDLY, UNDERSTANDING, CARING, KIND, ENTHUSIASTIC, RESPONSIBLE and of course, SMART! Here goes:

- Economics: Zhenxiong, Dennis, James, George, Ee Li.
- Literature: Priscillia, Ee Li, Samantha, Vanessa, Jia Ling, Lingyi.
- Mathematics: Kimberly, Lingyi, Jia Ling, Ee Li.

And we should, because that's the best way to even start solving a problem.

Sure, you may get angry, post angry posts, make everyone cower in fear over your anger, but hey, what's the point? Sure, it does get the message across, but at the same time it gets your anger across too, and it makes others angry. And that's the worst thing anyone can do in trying to address an issue. Attacking people with blog posts doesn't help anything. Oh well, welcome to the Digital Age.

I propose we talk it out, face to face. How about that? Find out what's the problem, give others a chance to at least explain themselves. So, let's say tomorrow during the first break we have, how about that? Let's try to address issues that we have been suppressing for the past one and a half years so that we can live harmoniously for the next 17 days?

But honestly I don't think there's anything wrong with the class. It's been a good class, at least the times we've spent in school were good times.

AHH I am so frustrated doing this. More will come another day ok!!

PLEASE PLEASE don't lose faith in our class just cos of a little drama that exploded into a drama serial! Seriously, we dont need to make such a big deal of everything. I hope everything will blow over and we'll be back to the way we used to be. Some relationships cant be bridged, everything wont go the way we want it to be but we should be happy with the little things we have! For me, that's enough. I am really grateful for our class right now, so please dont destroy this unity over some unnecessary drama.

Shawn and Eeli, please don't say you wont blog here anymore. What good will it do? What difference will it make? What are you trying to show by sticking to such a stand? Please, we all need each other. Especially with the As coming up!! Come on, I love you guys and I want you to come back here and blog! Is that good enough a reason?

Anyway, thanks to Lia and Eeli for organising yesterday's gathering and I really like the presents k! :D:D:D:D Though not entirely a successful surprise (because I am so good at catching little lies), I still really appreciate it. :) Love!

Does anyone know when the mooncake festival is? We can burn lanterns together and avoid mooncakes (COS ITS FREAKING 1000 CALORIES). No fake musical hello kitties ok.

I was clearing (im about 1/4 way through and too lazy to continue) my table today and upon seeing all those math stuff I had a sudden urge to practice crv because our school loves it so. But no, I didnt give into the urge. Muahaha.
(yeah I know this doesnt really make sense)

And that was the closest I got to studying after prelims.
